The Kendall County Fair grounds is on Route 71 just under a mile west of Route 47 in Yorkville, nestled among a beautiful wooded area on 35 acres providing a true country setting at one of the highest points in Kendall County. You can see for miles. What a view! Not only does the fairgrounds offer a beautiful setting but there are buildings available to facilitate many types of functions.

Kendall County Fair Fariground Rental

Smith Hall is our largest building with more than 9000 square feet of open space. Washroom facilities are easily accessible from inside the building. This is the perfect building to host your large shows, wedding receptions, auctions, fund raisers or “any occasion” parties.

The NEW Education Building provides 1,440 square feet of space and has been finished on the inside with tiled flooring, painted walls and curtains. It also has hot water, heating, air conditioning and washroom facilities. A separate kitchen area includes a serving window into the main room. This building is perfect business or organizational meetings, parties, fund raisers or receptions for up to 140.

The Fairgrounds also include a large, lighted outdoor arena with bleachers  for outdoor events and shows.


The Kendall County Fairgrounds are managed by the Kendall County Fair Association, a dedicated group of volunteers. Membership consists of representatives from many county organizations, as well as many elected members-at-large, who serve a two year term.
